Manufacturer Coupons & Patient Assistance Programs
Manufacturer coupons, copay assistance programs, and patient assistance programs may provide financial assistance for certain medications.
These programs are offered and controlled by the drug manufacturer, not by BrightSpring, MedImpact, or your medical plan. The drug manufacturer determines eligibility requirements, available assistance, program terms, and whether a program is changed or discontinued.
Because these programs are controlled by the manufacturer:
- Eligibility and savings are not guaranteed.
- Programs may change or end at any time.
- A manufacturer may change its eligibility or participation requirements.
- Manufacturer assistance should not be considered a guaranteed or permanent part of your BrightSpring pharmacy benefit.
Amounts paid by a manufacturer coupon, copay assistance program, or patient assistance program do not count toward your plan deductible or out-of-pocket maximum. Only amounts you are responsible for paying may be credited toward these limits, in accordance with the terms of the plan.
Eligible members may be contacted by MedImpact Assist regarding manufacturer assistance programs that may be available for certain specialty medications.
Important: Manufacturer assistance does not change the terms of your prescription drug coverage. Always review your applicable pharmacy benefit and official plan documents for information about covered medications, prior authorization requirements, exclusions, limitations, and how prescription expenses are applied to your deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.
